We are planning a 'show-stopper' of a new facility. It will be a home from home for children like these...

Local materials and labour will be sourced, thereby providing employment and boosting the local economy. We aim to use sustainable materials and energy sources to provide light and clean water whenever possible.

Children like these get little opportunity to play:

• Play is little valued or understood in Tanzania.
• Play is vital for children's emotional, psychological and physical development.
• We aim to open a play centre, train playworkers and involve parents of underprivileged children in play activities.

Faraja Support Mission Statement

• Faraja Support aims to help meet the needs of orphaned and vulnerable children in Northern Tanzania.

• We will provide a safe and nurturing environment within which children will be able to live happily and develop to their full potential.

• We believe that all children have the right to protection regardless of age, culture, disability, gender, racial origin, religious beliefs or sexual identity.

• We believe that the welfare of the child is paramount.
