How can I help..?

HOW CAN I HELP?

Talk to friends and family about Faraja Support and the Faraja Home-from-Home.

Donate to Faraja Support on a monthly basis - all donations at present will be used to pay for the land and buildings but when we are up and running we will need regular funding for the running costs - food, fuel, salaries etc.

One-off donations are always gratefully received. Please bear in mind that a little money goes a long way in Tanzania. £43.25p pays the rent for a month. £25 per month is the salary of the teacher. (A night out at the cinema and fish and chips on the way home!!)

Hold your own fundraising events – we can publicise any events on the website. Send us your ideas – we are always looking for new ways of raising money.

Start collecting and keeping for us anything you consider might be needed to furnish the home-from-home and play centre. More plans as regards this will be released nearer the time as we approach completion.

Join us on the Kilimanjaro climb in August 2009. it will be a fantastic experience of a lifetime and will raise considerable money for the project.

Support future events - we hope to put together a live gig at some point in the new year - watch this spot for further details
.

Donate items for raffles – new items please for raffles.

Collect and donate items for car boot sales – children’s toys, jewellery, toiletries and good household objects always sell well.

Hold your own car boot sale and donate the proceeds to Faraja Support.

Help search for larger sponsorship offers from businesses that you may be involved with.

If anybody could donate a photocopier or photocopying facilities, please get in touch with Helen.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU CAN THINK OF!!
