CLIMB
EVERY MOUNTAIN!
• Well, not every mountain. One in particular – Mount Kilimanjaro. The mountain is the biggest on the continent of Africa and is nearly 6000m. in height. It is also the tallest free standing mountain in the world
• We are putting together a team to climb the mountain in August of 2009.
• We are hoping to have at least 12 intrepid explorers who would like to participate in this hair-brained scheme.
• We would organise flights, climbing guides etc.
• We will depart morning of 2nd August 2009, and return early morning of 18th August 2009. These dates are now fixed.
• You would be responsible for raising the money for flights, climbing costs and other expenses such as hotel, before and after.
• You would have to agree to donate a minimum of £300 to Faraja Support to participate in the scheme.
• How you raise the money is your choice. You can fund yourself or embark on fund-raising to get the sponsorship to participate.
• We estimate that yours costs would be about £1700. That would include flights, hotel charges, climbing costs etc. It should also cover the minimum donation of £300.
• You will need to be over 18 and with a reasonable level of fitness.
• You will need to ensure you have adequate insurance and have taken advice on medical matters such as vaccinations, malaria protection etc.
If you would like to register your interest in this adventure please contact us – at this point no money is needed – just an expression of interest which is not binding.
